Summer of '76

Inspiration is worth its weight in gold

A story doesn’t exist in a vacuum. Actually a great number of people inspired the events in this novel. Some are people I met in passing, whose names I don’t even know. But others are friends who shared their travel experiences with me. Friends with whom I walked the paths of Europe or who have provided invaluable support and inspiration as this story was born, has developed and is maturing.

So here’s to some friends who rode the trains, walked the paths and in general were inspiration: Adis Vila, Debbie Miles, Cindy Condon, George Stokes, the Swedish girl on the train to Heidelberg, Birgitta Ling, Petra Haumersen and Franklin and Marie Reyner.

Thank you very much. And Carensa thanks you too 😉
