When I made the last post about inspiration, Inspiration is worth its weight in gold, I included everyone who I would say was a major inspiration for characters and events in the Carensa story.
That of course in no way suggests that there weren’t others who also provided some inspiration. So here are some other guys and gals who I met on the trains and paths of Europe in the mid-1970’s: Ira on the beach in Monaco, Patti Crow, Stephanie Pass, Billy Fishman, Josh from The Bronx, Julie Dawson, Tom Moore and John Polk. I owe you all a debt of gratitude for helping build great memories. I hope that the road has indeed risen up to meet you and the wind has been ever at your back.
